Mike Mangone, Ph.D.

Mike Mangone is Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy for Phoenix Tissue Repair and supports other BridgeBio affiliates. Mike has over 10 years of drug development and life science industry experience. Prior to joining Phoenix, he was a Senior Consultant with ClearView Healthcare Partners where he consulted for a range of companies in the life science industry. At ClearView Mike focused on a wide variety of projects spanning corporate strategy, commercial and business development in the rare disease, dermatology and autoimmunity disease spaces among other areas. Mike also spent time at Flagship Pioneering as a VentureLabs Fellow helping create early stage companies centered on breakthrough science. The initial exploratory work performed by Mike and colleagues helped generate the foundation for Ring Therapeutics. Mike is a scientist by training, and developed small molecule inhibitors targeting key oncogenic and inflammatory pathways at Columbia University as a postdoctoral fellow. He received his Ph.D. in Pathobiology working on cancer vaccine development at NYU School of Medicine, and his A.B. in molecular biology at Princeton University.
